Two of the great Greek architectural orders, hand-cast in plaster and hand-painted at our Romanian atelier. • Ionic — the elegant scroll-topped (volute) capital, favoured in the temples of Ionia and the Erechtheion on the Athenian Acropolis. Refined, feminine proportions. • Corinthian — the most ornate of the classical orders, its capital carved with stylised acanthus leaves. First used at Bassae and later beloved by Roman temple builders. • Set — one Ionic and one Corinthian together, at a saving. Beautiful on a console, entryway, mantel or shelf, as a bookend, styled with a trailing plant, or paired at either side of a doorway or hearth. Also lovely as a photography prop or a small pedestal for a candle or bud vase. Available finishes: Gold, Bronze, Silver, Rose Gold, or custom colour on request.
